Paul Gordon

Paul practices in general civil litigation with an emphasis in products liability, trucking accidents, construction litigation, premises liability, governmental liability, employment law and general personal injury.

Paul is also involved with professional organizations. He is active in the national legal defense organization DRI (Defense Research Institute) and serves as Chair of the Law School Initiative Subcommittee of DRI’s Young Lawyers Committee, Marketing Chair of DRI's Consumer Goods and Office Equipment Specialized Litigation Group, and the Young Lawyers Committee’s Vice Liaison to the Products Liability Committee. In addition to DRI, Paul is also a member of the Missouri Organization of Defense Lawyers, Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association, Missouri Bar Association, and Kansas Bar Association. Paul has also been a featured speaker at seminars, most recently giving a presentation on conducting cost-effective fact investigations for personal injury cases at the 2009 DRI Young Lawyers Seminar in Las Vegas, Nevada. Paul has also recently co-authored an article in the Summer 2010 newsletter of the Missouri Organization of Defense Lawyers titled “How Do Damages for ‘Care’ Fit in a Wrongful Death Case: A Case Study in Statutory Construction”.

He is admitted to practice in Missouri (1998) and Kansas (1999). In addition to all trial and appellate courts of Missouri and Kansas, Paul is admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Western District of Missouri and the District of Kansas.

Paul earned his B.S.B.A. with an emphasis in Business Management from the University of Missouri-Columbia (1994) and his J.D. from the University of Missouri-Kansas City (1998).
