Maggie's practice is focused on general personal injury, construction litigation, nursing home liability, employment matters and insurance coverage issues.

Maggie first joined Sherman Taff Bangert Thomas & Coronado, P.C. as a law clerk while she was in law school. She rejoined the firm in 2006 after stints as in-house counsel for a large insurance company and as a litigator for a larger Kansas City defense firm. Maggie's diverse experience has given her unique insight into handling a variety of claims and meeting clients' needs and requirements.

Maggie is involved in the national legal defense organization DRI (Defense Research Institute). She is a member of DRI's Diversity Publications Committee. In addition to DRI, she is also a member of the Missouri Organization of Defense Lawyers, Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association, Missouri Bar Association and Kansas Bar Association.

Maggie earned her J.D. from the Washburn University School of Law in Topeka, Kansas in 1999. In addition to being admitted to practice in all state trial and appellate courts of Missouri and Kansas, she is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri and the United States District Court for the District of Kansas.
